Have you ever lost or misplaced something? A student turned in her classroom assignment to me and I placed it in her teacher's folder. When I went to place other students completed assignments in the folder, hers was not there. I begin to look around the teacher's desk, on the floor and even in the trash can for her paper to no avail. I stop and asked the Holy Spirit to show me where her paper was.
By the end of the school day while I was picking up paper off the floor, I saw a handwritten paper in the corner. Yes, it was hers! I began to thank Holy Spirit for showing me her paper. As I was rejoicing over finding her paper, I was reminded of the parables of lost things Jesus told in Luke 15:1-32. I was reminded how even the angles in heaven rejoices when a lost soul comes to the Lord. It is God will that no one remains lost that why He sent Jesus to save the world, the lost. God loves and redeems all who comes to him in faith. Today can be the start of a new life for you. God is waiting to adopt you as his own child. Pray this prayer: Father, I repent of my sin and accept Jesus Christ as my Savior. Thank you, God, for saving me and making me your child. That's it, welcome to the family of God.
