Romans 8:17 The Message (MSG)

15-17 This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave tending life. It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike “What’s next, Papa?” God’s Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are. We know who he is, and we know who we are: Father and children. And we know we are going to get what’s coming to us—an unbelievable inheritance! We go through exactly what Christ goes through. If we go through the hard times with him, then we’re certainly going to go through the good times with him!

The moment we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we become heir and joint-heir with Jesus. We share with Him the blessings of the Kingdom of God. Whatever Jesus has, we also have. This was made possible when He became our substitute and bore our punishment for not keeping our obligation to the law. He fulfilled the obligation in its entirety on our behave so we could be free from it. Not only did he fulfill the obligation we owed, but He also brought back our health, healing, prosperity, peace and gave us His righteousness so that we are now able to go before God's throne of grace with a clear conscience, free from guilt, shame, and condemnation. WOW, that's the best news ever!

Prayer of Confession

Father in Jesus' name, I decree and declare that I am no longer under the Law's obligation. Jesus kept them for me, so I do not have to suffer from the curse of the Law. I am in Christ, and Christ is in me; therefore, I am more than a conqueror because Jesus has defeated sin, death, hell, and the grave for me. I am the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus! All things are mines! I am blessed with the blessing of Abraham because I am his seed. I have an abundance of all good things now. I live in the fullness of my Kingdom inheritance as an heir and joint-heir with Christ Jesus my Lord!
