The word praise is mention over 350 times in the scriptures and there are over 25 topical studies of

the word praise. The word praise is used about 150 times in the book of Psalm. Psalm 150:6 says, "Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord". God created His highest creation to give Him praise! Read the entire Psalm 150. Dance is another form we can praise God. King David was a man of praise and worship who wrote over 70 psalms. David is also known to praise God in dance. 2 Samuel 6 gives the account of David dancing before the Ark upon its arrival in Jerusalem. David was so overjoyed that he expressed his praise to God in dance. When we receive the answer to our prayers we give God praise and our spirits rejoice and often times we dance to express our joy and gratitude.

There are times when we are overburden with the cares of life that we do not feel like praising God. When we push through the pain and cast our cares on Jesus, it is then we can receive the joy of the Lord that gives us the strength to bring forth praise to God. The next time you find yourself in a place of despair, cast your cares on Jesus for He cares for you and by faith, began to give God praise. Your praises are the key to your victory!

Father, I thank you for giving me the ability to give you praise.

I chose today to cast all my care upon you and offer my praise

because you are good.
